shall be punished under the provisions of § 24-27 of this
article.

[(b) (D) The boards may also furnish a list of the names,
addresses, and party affiliations of all new registrants in any
precinct in any current year. The method and cost of
reproduction of these lists shall be determined jointly by the
State Administrative Board of Election Laws and the boards.-J—

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Housing Authority Commissioners

FOR the purpose of repealing the prohibition against housing
authority commissioners receiving compensation for
commission work; permitting the commissioners to receive
reasonable compensation with certain limitations; making
stylistic changes; and generally relating to the
compensation of housing authority commissioners.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 44A - Housing Authorities

When the governing body of a city adopts a resolution as
aforesaid, it shall promptly notify the mayor of its adoption.
Upon receiving notice, and approving the resolution, the mayor
shall appoint five persons as commissioners of the authority
created for the city. The commissioners who are first appointed
shall be designated to serve for terms of one, two, three, four
and five years, respectively, from the date of their appointment,
