FOR the purpose of redesignating the position of "Board

secretary" to "Board administrator" on the Board of

Examiners of Psychologists permitting the Board of Examiners
of Psychologists to designate one of its staff as Board
Administrator.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Health Occupations

Section 16-204

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1981 Volume and 1983 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

16-204.

(a)  A majority of the members then serving on the Board is
a quorum.

(b)  (1) The Board shall meet at least once a year, at the
times and places that it determines.

(2)  The Board may hold special meetings, if:

(i) Requested by the Secretary; or

(ii) The Chairman or a majority of the members
then serving on the Board consider a meeting to be necessary or
advisable.

(3)  Reasonable notice of all Board meetings shall be
given in the manner determined by the Board.

(c)  A member of the Board is entitled to:

(1)  Compensation, in accordance with the State
budget, for each day on which the member is engaged in performing
the duties of the member's office; and

(2)  Reimbursement for expenses under the Standard
State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.

(d) (1) The Board may appoint a DESIGNATE ONE OF ITS STAFF
AS Board [secretary] ADMINISTRATOR.

(2)  The Board [secretary] ADMINISTRATOR may be
compensated in accordance with the State budget.

(3)  The Board may employ other staff in accordance
with the State budget.
