(2) TO THE STATE HALL OF RECORDS COMMISSION, EACH
EVERY OTHER BILL.

[2-1514.

(a)  This section does not apply to a public local law for:

(1)  Dorchester County;

(2)  Howard County;

(3)  Montgomery County;

(4)   Somerset County;

(5)  Washington County;

(6)  Wicomico County; or
(7) Worcester County.

(b)   Immediately after the General Assembly passes an
emergency public local law:

(1)   the Secretary of the Senate, if the law is a
Senate bill, or the Chief Clerk of the House, if the law is a
House bill, shall mail a certified copy of the law:

(i) to the commissioners of the county to which
the law applies; or

(ii) if the law applies to Baltimore City, to
the Mayor; and

(2)  the commissioners or Mayor shall have the law
published, in each newspaper that the commissioners or Mayor
designates.

(c)  (1) Except in Baltimore City and Prince George's
County, the county commissioners shall designate 1 or more
newspapers in the county.

(2)   In Baltimore City, the Mayor shall designate 1 or
more daily newspapers that are published in the City.

(3)   In Prince George's County, the commissioners
shall designate any 3 newspapers that are published in different
parts of the county.

(d)  (1) Except in Prince George's County, the law shall be
published, in each designated newspaper, at least once a week for
3 successive weeks.

(2) In Prince George's County, the law shall be
published at least once in each designated newspaper.
