(F)   [thereof, and all] ALL the provisions of this subtitle
relating to systems constructed by the Commission [shall] apply
to [said] THE extension.

(G)  Any municipality whose system is acquired by the
District [is hereby authorized to] MAY use the amount paid to it
for [said] THE system for the purchase or redemption of any bonds
or debt which [may be] ARE outstanding against [the same] IT, or
the Commission, [may] as a part of the purchase price of [said]
THE. system, MAY assume the payment of [any such] THE outstanding
bonds. The Commission [shall] MAY not WHOLLY OR PARTIALLY
purchase any existing water mains, sewers, or systems[,in whole
or in part,] which are improperly constructed, [or] are not of
sufficient capacity, or were constructed without proper authority
from the State Department of Health since the passage of the law
requiring [the same] THEM. (1957 Code, sec. 547. 1957, ch. 694,
sec. 893; 1961, ch. 743, sec. 547.)

28-21. Commission to supervise other systems.

(A)   [After June 1, 1957, whenever] WHENEVER the County,
[or] the property owners, or THE residents of any locality in a
sub-district [shall desire] WANT ALL OR PART OF a water system,
sewerage system or surface water drainage system[, or part
thereof,] to be constructed in that locality, and the Commission
[shall decide] DECIDES that it is inexpedient or impracticable at
that time[, owing to the remoteness from its general system or
other causes,] to build [such] THE system, [such] THOSE persons
may build and operate [said] THE system at their own expense.

(B)   [, but it] IT shall be constructed under plans and
specifications prepared by the Commission or under its
supervision, and its maintenance and operation shall be under the
general control of the Commission.

(C)   [; and no such] ALL OR PART OF THE system [or part
thereof], [or no] water main, sewer, water purification or sewage
treatment plant, or [no] connection with any of them, [shall] MAY
NOT be constructed or installed except as PROVIDED in this
section. [provided, and any] ANY violation of this provision
[shall be] IS a misdemeanor punishable under Section 28-24 [of
this sub-title].

(D)  All construction, [and] operating records, [including]
AND cost records[,] shall be filed with the Commission.[, which
shall be empowered at any time to] THE COMMISSION MAY take over
[said] system [or part thereof] ALL OR PART OF THE, [or said]
water main, sewer, storm water drain, water or sewage treatment
plant, or connect on with any of them in the same manner as
provided under Section 28-20 for systems existing on June 1,
1957. (1957 Code, sec. 548. 1957, ch. 694, sec. 894; 1961, ch.
743, sec. 548.)
