24.06.00.01 Supplement for Clerks of

the Court

General Fund Appropriation,
provided that $1,038,570 of this
appropriation shall be reduced
contingent upon the enactment of
Senate Bill 1007.................

The General Fund Appropriation to
support Clerk deficiencies has

been deleted. It is the

intention of the General Assembly
that the Clerks of the Court will

take the necessary action to

reduce their costs of operation
to avoid the need for general
fund support

The General Fund Appropriation has
been reduced to two-thirds of the
projected general fund support
for Clerks' deficiencies. It is
the intention of the General
Assembly that the Clerks of the
Court will take the necessary
action to reduce their cost of
operation annually during a three
year period in order to avoid the
need for general fund support
after fiscal year 1987. Provided
further, that this appropriation
shall not be expended until there
shall be no expenditure from this
appropriation after December 31,
1984 unless the Budget Committees
shall receive and approve the
report of the Task Force on
Clerks of the Court and that no
additional positions shall be
