SECTION 13. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 206A(a)

of Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative

Departments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to
be Section 206A.

SECTION 14. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the new
subtitle "Construction Contracts" be added to Article 41
Governor - Executive and Administrative Departments, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, to precede Section(s) 256F(j).

SECTION 15. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act does
not affect Chapter 818, Section 2, of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1982.

SECTION 16. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the revisor's
notes and catchlines contained in this Act are not law and may
not be considered to have been enacted as a part of this Act.

SECTION 17. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That nothing in this
Act affects the term of office of an appointed or elected member
of any department, board, commission, committee, agency, or other
unit. A person who is a member of a unit on the effective date
of this Act shall remain a member for the balance of the term to
which appointed or elected, unless the member sooner dies,
resigns, or is removed under provisions of law.
