22.01.00.09 Judicial Data Processing

General Fund Appropriation,
provided that $268,000 of this

appropriation made for the

purpose of receiving criminal
District Court information from
Baltimore, Montgomery and Prince
George's Counties' local criminal
justice information systems may
not be expended unless approved
by the Budget Committees. The
Budget Committees shall approve

the expenditure upon

certification of the Judiciary,
the Department of Public Safety
and Correctional Services and the
counties that each is in accord
as to the terms and systems
through which information is to
be shared among them and that
each is prepared to perform its

responsibilities under the

accord.

And further provided that $111,240
of this appropriation made for
the purpose of providing salary
and benefits for five additional
programmer analyst positions may
not be expended until except to
the extent approved by the Budget
Committees after the Budget
Committees approve a master plan
for the Judicial Data Processing
unit. This plan shall identify
(1) the various activities of the
unit, including the various
systems supported through it, (2)

short-range and long-range

priorities, goals and objectives
for each of the activities and
