(2) From the [22%] 25% that the licensee deducts from the handle, 8%
9% of the handle shall be paid to the Commission, which shall send it to the
Comptroller to be credited to the Fair Hill Improvement Fund established in § 5-908
of the Natural Resources Article.
(b) Money that remains after deductions are made under subsection (a) of this
section shall be returned as winnings to successful bettors.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2005.

AN ACT concerning
Carroll County - Food Sales - Religious Organizations
FOR the purpose of authorizing certain religious organizations in Carroll County to
sell certain homemade fruit jellies, jams, and preserves, certain fruit butters,
and certain fruit pies if the food offered for sale or sold is produced at the
organization and meets certain safety standards adopted by the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene; and generally relating to food sales by religious
organizations in Carroll County.
