(B) UNLESS OTHERWISE DIRECTED BY THE COMMISSION, A PUBLIC SERVICE
COMPANY IS NOT REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION IF
THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY IS:
(1) A COMMON CARRIER; OR
(2) A TELEPHONE COMPANY WHOSE RATES ARE NOT REGULATED BY
THE COMMISSION UNDER TITLE 4 OF THIS ARTICLE.
[(b)] (C) The president, treasurer, or general manager of a public service
company shall verify the company's annual report under oath.
[(c)] (D) The Commission may:
(1) require a public service company to submit reports and information
that the Commission reasonably desires;
(2) prescribe the form, contents, and deadlines for the reports and
information; and
(3) require amendments or corrections to the reports within a set period.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 2005.

AN ACT concerning
Correctional Services - Sanctions by the Patuxent Institution Board of
Review
FOR the purpose of altering the sanctions imposed on certain inmates of the Patuxent
Institution who commit a major violation to allow the Board of Review for the
Patuxent Institution to impose certain sanctions under certain circumstances;
and generally relating to the Patuxent Institution Board of Review.
