SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Tax - Property
7-306.
PROPERTY IS NOT SUBJECT TO STATE PROPERTY TAX IF THE PROPERTY:
(1) IS OWNED BY THE MARYLAND STATE GAME AND FISH PROTECTIVE
ASSOCIATION, INC.; AND
(2) IS USED TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON HUNTING SAFETY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2005, and shall be applicable to all taxable years beginning after June 30,
2005.

CHAPTER 119
(Senate Bill 129)
AN ACT concerning
Energy Assistance Program Act
FOR the purpose of renaming the State Energy Assistance and Information Program
Act; establishing the Office of Home Energy Programs; repealing certain
provisions relating to the Energy Assistance and Information Program and the
Maryland Office of Economic Opportunity; requiring the Office of Home Energy
Programs to maintain liaison with certain agencies and groups; requiring the
Office of Home Energy Programs to develop and implement certain programs;
repealing a certain limitation on the amount of certain assistance; requiring the
Office of Home Energy Programs to take certain actions; defining certain terms;
and generally relating to energy assistance programs.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 41 — Governor — Executive and Administrative Departments
Section 6-401 through 6-406, inclusive, to be under the amended subtitle
"Subtitle 4. Energy Assistance Program Act"
