Bill No. 81-2004
AN ACT repealing and re-enacting with amendments those sections of the Howard
County Code referred to in Section 1 and Section 2 of Council Bill No. 72-2004,
which was passed by the County Council on November 1, 2004 and approved by
the County Executive on November 3, 2004, to make technical corrections to the
Howard ' County Code prohibiting Howard County, Maryland boards and
commissions and temporary boards and commissions in addition to the Zoning
Board, the Hearing Examiner, the Board of Appeals and the County, Council
from holding meetings which include an opportunity for public testimony on
days on which Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Eid Ul Fitr and Eid Ul Adha are
observed.

(1) repeal certain obsolete provisions that govern violations of the County's
recreation law;
(2) clarify the penalties for violating the recreation law;
(3) make all parts of the recreation law subject to the same enforcement
