MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
Constitution of Maryland (1981 Constitutions Replacement Volume) and Section 13 of
Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1996 Replacement Volume and 1999
Cumulative Supplement), to repeal Section 26-6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Garrett County, known as the Mountain Lake Park Charter, said Section being
entitled: "Meetings", in its entirety and reenact a new Section 26-6 in its place and
stead. [Section 26-6 of the Charter of the Town of Mountain Lake Park, Garrett
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2004 Supplement, repealed. Section 26-6 of the Charter of the Town of Mountain Lake Park, Garrett County,
as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters
(1990 Replacement Edition and 2004 Supplement), added. Effective Date February 25, 2005]
NEW MARKET (Frederick County) RESOLUTION NO. 03-01 OF THE TOWN OF NEW MARKET TO ENLARGE THE CORPORATE BOUNDARIES OF THE TOWN (ORCHARD AT NEW MARKET, LLC) RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of The Town of New Market, adopted
pursuant to the authority of Article 11-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section
19 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, entitled, "Corporations -
Municipal," subheading "Home Rule," "Annexation," to enlarge the corporate
boundaries of The Town of New Market as identified in Article I, Section 23-4
(Corporate limits) of the Charter of the Town and the description thereof by courses
and distances, as referenced in said Charter, by adding or annexing to the present
Corporate boundaries, the property, comprising 58.713 acres, more or less, described
by courses and distances in a recent survey performed by Harris, Smariga &
Associates, Inc., dated October 16, 2003, which description is incorporated into and
made a part of this Resolution by reference. [Article I, Section 23-4 of the Charter of the Town of New Market, Frederick
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2004 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments.
