vetoed House Bill 897 — Rules of Interpretation - Computation of Age.
This bill establishes that an individual attains a specified age on the day of the
anniversary of the individual's birth and provides an exception for individuals born on
February 29.
Senate Bill 86, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me,
accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House
Bill 897.
Very truly yours,
