The Honorable Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr.
President of the Senate
State House
Annapolis, MD 21401
Dear Mr. President:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have
vetoed Senate Bill 513 - Environment - Kent County - Sanitary Commission.
This bill repeals provisions of law relating to the Kent County Sanitary Commission
and provides for the transfer of specified records to the County Administrator for
Kent County.
House Bill 580, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me,
accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 513.
Very truly yours,
Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr.
Governor
Senate Bill No. 513

FOR the purpose of repealing provisions of law relating to the Kent County Sanitary
Commission; providing for the transfer of certain records to the County
Administrator for Kent County; and generally relating to the repeal of the Kent
County Sanitary Commission.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
