SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
4-101.
(a) In the jurisdictions listed in this section, "light wine" is a fermented
beverage that contains not in excess of 15.5 percent of alcohol by volume unless
another percentage is listed.
(i) Cecil County — 22 PERCENT.
4-201.
(a) A Class A light wine license may be issued only in:
(1) Baltimore County;
(2) Calvert County;
(3) CAROLINE COUNTY;
(3) (4) Carroll County;
(4) (5) CECIL COUNTY;
[(4)] (5) (6) Dorchester County;
[(5)] (6) (7) Frederick County;
[(6)] (7) (8) Garrett County;
[(7)] (8) (9) Harford County;
[(8)] (9) (10) Montgomery County;
[(9)] (10) (11) Queen Anne's County;
[(10)] (11) (12) St. Mary's County;
[(11)] (12) (13) Somerset County;
[(12)] (13) (14) Talbot County; and
[(13)](14) (15) Washington County.
(b) (1) The EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS SUBSECTION. THE
annual fee for this license is $50.
(4) IN CAROLINE COUNTY, THE ANNUAL FEE FOR THIS LICENSE SHALL
BE SET BY THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.
