SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings
13-607.
This subtitle shall terminate and be of no effect after June 30, [2006] 2011 2009.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2005.

Dear Mr. President:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have
vetoed Senate Bill 376 - Garrett County - Gross Weight of Vehicles - County Roads.
This bill authorizes the County Commissioners of Garrett County to establish the
authorized gross maximum weight of a specified vehicle using any part of Table Rock
Road and Wilson Run Road that is owned and maintained by the county. It also
establishes that a specified gross maximum weight may not exceed 87,000 pounds.
House Bill 466, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me,
accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 376.
