Commissioners amending the building excise tax credit and the amended building
excise tax credit is greater than the original building excise tax credit, the Board of
County Commissioners may reimburse the individual the amount of money equal to
the difference between the amended building excise tax credit and the original
building excise tax credit.
(c) Any refund that the Board of County Commissioners for Washington
County makes under subsection (b) of this section shall be made on or before June 30,
2006.
SECTION 3. 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 2005. Section 3 shall remain effective for a period of 6 years and, at the
end of June 30, 2011, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this
Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect. Section 5 shall remain
effective for a period of 1 year and, at the end of June 30, 2006, with no further action
required by the General Assembly, this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force
and effect.

AN ACT concerning
Hurricane Isabel Disaster Relief Act - Reporting Requirements - Financial
Assistance Applications - Extension of Termination
FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of Housing and Community
Development to issue to the General Assembly on or before a certain date an
interim report on the implementation of the Hurricane Isabel Disaster Relief
Act; altering the date on or before which the Department of Housing and
Community Development shall issue to the General Assembly a final report on
the implementation of the Hurricane Isabel Disaster Relief Act; providing that
all applications for financial assistance under the Hurricane Isabel Disaster
Relief Act shall be received by the Department by a certain date and may be
considered for financial assistance through a certain date; altering the date at
the end of which a certain section of the Hurricane Isabel Disaster Relief Act
shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect; making this Act an
emergency measure; and generally relating to the Hurricane Isabel Disaster
Relief Act.
