Ch. 594                                    2005 LAWS OF MARYLAND except that beer and light wine only may be sold from an "off-sale" store which is
attached to and a part of the licensed premises on Sunday after [eight a.m.] 8:00 A.M.
until [two a.m.] 12:00 A.M. the day following. For the purpose of this provision, the
Board of License Commissioners shall determine by reasonable standards what shall
constitute an "off-sale store". Nothing further herein shall be construed to permit sales
at any time between [2 a.m.] 12:00 A.M. and [6 a.m.] 6:00 A.M. of any day.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2005. Approved May 26, 2005.

(House Bill 1129)
AN ACT concerning Prince George's County - Public Safety Surcharge PG 307-05 FOR the purpose of requiring authorizing the County Council of Prince George's
County to impose by ordinance a certain public safety surcharge on certain new
residential construction for which a building permit is sought preliminary plan
has been approved after a certain date; decreasing the amount of the surcharge
after a certain date;
specifying that payment of the surcharge does not eliminate
any authority to apply certain tests concerning the adequacy of public safety
facilities under certain circumstances and subject to certain conditions; requiring
certain distributions from the surcharge revenue to certain police and fire
departments to be used for certain purposes
requiring the governing body of
Prince George's County to distribute revenue from the surcharge to police, fire,
and emergency medical services in the County; requiring a certain percentage of
the revenue from the surcharge imposed on construction in certain municipal
corporations to be distributed to certain police departments; providing for the
distribution of the revenue from the surcharge imposed on construction in a
certain municipal corporation;
requiring revenue collected from the surcharge to
be used for certain purposes; providing that the surcharge may not supplant
certain other funding; requiring the Prince George's County Executive to
prepare a certain annual report; providing for the periodic adjustment of
surcharges under this Act; and generally relating to a public safety surcharge in
Prince George's County. BY adding to The Public Local Laws of Prince George's County
Section 10-192.11 Article 17 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
