AN ACT concerning
Task Force on Broadband Communications Deployment in Underserved
Rural Areas - Extension
FOR the purpose of extending the termination date of the Task Force on Broadband
Communications Deployment in Underserved Rural Areas; extending the date
by which a certain report is due; and generally relating to the Task Force on
Broadband Communications Deployment in Underserved Rural Areas.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Chapter 320 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2003
Section 1(i)(2)(iv) and 3
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Chapter 320 of the Acts of 2003
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:
(i) (2) The Task Force shall issue:
. (iv) on or before June 30, [2005] 2006, a final report of the Task
Force.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2003. It shall remain effective for a period of [2] 3 years and 1 month and, at
the end of June 30, [2005] 2006, with no further action required by the General
Assembly, this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2005.
