2. If a signature of a parent, guardian, or other person is
required under § 16-107 of this subtitle, the parent, guardian, or other person who
signs the individual's application under that section.
(3) A learner's instructional permit issued to an individual described in
paragraph (1) of this subsection expires one year after the date of issuance.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2005.

AN ACT concerning
Homicide Murder and Manslaughter - Victim— Viable Fetus
FOR the purpose of establishing that a prosecution may be instituted for certain
murder, manslaughter, or murder or manslaughter of a viable fetus other
unlawful homicide prosecutions and under certain conditions the victim may
include for an act or failure to act that cause the death of a viable fetus; defining
a certain term; providing for the construction of certain provisions of this Act;
providing that the commission of certain acts under certain circumstances shall
not constitute a certain aggravating circumstance; providing for the application
of this Act; and generally relating to prosecution for murder, manslaughter, or
murder or manslaughter, other unlawful homicide.
