Ch. 540 2005 LAWS OF MARYLAND
1. THE AMOUNT OF MTBE CONTAMINATION AT THE SITE;
2. THE ACTIONS THE DEPARTMENT IS TAKING TO ADDRESS
THE CONTAMINATION; AND
3. THE ACTIONS THAT THE PROPERTY OWNER SHOULD
TAKE TO PROTECT THE OWNER'S HEALTH AND PROPERTY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2005.

(House Bill 381)
AN ACT concerning
Election Law - Board of Canvassers Tabulation and Reporting of Election
Results
FOR the purpose of requiring that the statement of election results prepared by each
board of canvassers after an election list the election results for each candidate
or question voted on at the election in a certain manner; requiring each local
board to tabulate and publish election results in a certain manner the State
Board of Elections to make available an electronic report of certain election
information; authorizing, the State Board to make the electronic report available
to the public at cost; and generally relating to the tabulation and reporting of
election results.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Election Law
11-402.
(a) (1) Unless otherwise provided by the Maryland Constitution, and except
as provided in subsection (b) of this section, each board of canvassers shall prepare a
statement of election results [by precinct] for each candidate or question voted on at
the election and declare:
