SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - State Personnel and Pensions
21-307.
(M) FOR EACH EMPLOYEE OF THE MARYLAND TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION WHO
IS A MEMBER OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS' PENSION SYSTEM, THE
MARYLAND TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION SHALL PAY TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES THE
EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTIONS OTHERWISE REQUIRED TO BE MADE BY THE STATE ON
BEHALF OF THE MEMBER
26-201.
(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, this subtitle applies
only to:
(1) an employee of the Department of Natural Resources commissioned
by the Secretary of Natural Resources as:
(i) a Natural Resources police officer; or
(ii) a law enforcement officer, other than a Natural Resources police
officer;
(2) a law enforcement officer employed by the Field Enforcement
Division;
