MAJOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FUND
The General Assembly approves the use of
the Major Information Technology
Development Project Fund (MITDPF) to
support projects as listed in the 2005
Joint Chairmen's Report (JCR). The
Office of Information Technology (OIT)
shall submit any projects not listed in the
JCR or any projects listed in the JCR for
which the proposed funding level
increases by more than 10 percent to the
budget committees. The committees shall
have 45 days to review and comment from
the date of receipt of any submittal.
Further, beginning July 1, 2005, within
two weeks of the end of each quarter. PIT
shall provide the Department of
Legislative Services with a list of any
Independent Verification and Validation
(IV&V) undertaken with MITDPF
support. The list shall include the cost of
any IV&V contract, the project that is the
focus of the IV&V and the focus of the
IV&V.
