Ch. 344 2005 LAWS OF MARYLAND
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of this Act
shall take effect on the date of approval by the federal Centers of Medicare and
Medicaid Services, in accordance with the terms of the waiver granted to the State
under § 1814(b) of the Social Security Act, of the method of funding the computerized
eligibility system. If the method of funding the eligibility system is denied, this Act
shall be null and void without the necessity of any further action by the General
Assembly. The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, within 5 days after
receiving notice of approval or denial of the method of funding, shall forward a copy of
this notice to the Department of Legislative Services, 90 State Circle, Annapolis,
Maryland 21401. SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to Section 2 of
this Act, this Act shall take effect October 1, 2005 July 1, 2005. Approved May 10, 2005.

(Senate Bill 900) AN ACT concerning Prince George's County Education - Board of Education and Public School
System Reviews - ReviewRepeal Requirements FOR the purpose of repealing a requirement that altering the dates by which a certain
consultant conduct a certain review
certain consultants shall conduct certain
reviews of the Prince George's County public school system, and the New Prince
George's County Board of Education, the Baltimore City-State Partnership, and
the Baltimore City Public School System on or before a certain date certain
dates; repealing a requirement that the New; altering the dates by which the
Prince George's County Board of Education, the Baltimore City Board of School
Commissioners, and the State Board of Education submit a certain report
certain reports to the General Assembly on or before a certain date certain
dates;; providing that the Prince George's County Board of Education shall
review certain findings, conduct certain public hearings, and report certain
results;
and generally relating to the repeal of a review reviews of the Prince
George's County Board of Education and public school system, the Baltimore
City-State Partnership, and the Baltimore City Public School System. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Chapter 289 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2002
