EDUCATE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, BUSINESSES, MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS,
AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS TO PARKING LAWS AND REGULATIONS, INCLUDING:
(1) THE AUTHORITY OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS TO ENTER
PRIVATE PARKING LOTS USED BY THE PUBLIC; AND
(2) SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR, AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
LAWFUL USE OF, SPECIAL REGISTRATION PLATES AND PLACARDS ISSUED UNDER
TITLE 13, SUBTITLE 6 OF THIS ARTICLE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That a local legislative body
shall provide for exceptions to local zoning ordinances under Section 1 of this Act to
comply with the van-accessible parking ratio requirement of the Maryland
Accessibility Code in the review and revision of its comprehensive zoning plan next
occurring after the effective date of this Act.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2005 January 1, 2006.

(Senate Bill 635)
AN ACT concerning
Massage Therapists - Certification and Registration - Out of State
Institutions Educational Qualifications
FOR the purpose of altering the qualifications for a certificate or registration to
practice massage therapy to include certain hours of education completed at
certain institutions enrollment and graduation from certain schools on or before
a certain date; and generally relating to the certification and registration of
massage therapists.
