(2) The Carroll County Commissioners shall set the fees, the term, and
the form for dog licenses and kennel licenses pursuant to the authority under §
11-511 of this subtitle.
(P) IN CECIL COUNTY, THE FEES, THE TERMS, AND THE FORMS FOR DOG AND
KENNEL LICENSES SHALL BE DETERMINED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
CECIL COUNTY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2005.

AN ACT concerning
Public Safety - Statewide DNA Data Base System - Use of Match as Probable
Cause
FOR the purpose of altering the use as probable cause of a match obtained between
an evidence sample and an entry in the statewide DNA data base system; and
generally relating to the statewide DNA data base system.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Public Safety
2-510.
A match obtained between an evidence sample and a data base entry may only
be used as probable cause [to obtain an additional DNA sample from the subject] and
is not admissible at trial unless confirmed by additional testing.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2005.
