Ch. 241
Military Installation Strategic Planning Council. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Chapter 335 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2003
Section 2 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Chapter 335 of the Acts of 2003 SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 2003. It shall remain effective for a period of [1 year] 3 YEARS and 6 7
months, and, at the end of December 31, [2005] 2007, with no further action required
by the General Assembly, this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and
effect. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 2005. Approved April 26, 2005.
CHAPTER 241
(House Bill 818) AN ACT concerning Task Force to Study Identity Theft FOR the purpose of establishing a Task Force to Study Identity Theft; specifying the
membership and duties of the Task Force; providing for the appointment of a
Senate co-chairman and House co-chairman of the Task Force; providing for the
staffing of the Task Force; prohibiting a member of the Task Force from
receiving compensation for serving on the Task Force; authorizing a member of
the Task Force to receive reimbursement for certain expenses; requiring a
certain report on or before a certain date; providing for the termination of the
Task Force; and generally relating to the Task Force to Study Identity Theft. SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY. OF
MARYLAND, That: (a)     There is a Task Force to Study Identity Theft. (b)     The Task Force consists of the following members: (1)     three two members of the Senate of Maryland, appointed by the
President of the Senate; (2)     three members of the House of Delegates, appointed by the Speaker
of the House; .
