Ch. 215
(ii) If approved by the local governing body and the State Highway
Administration, in Dorchester County, a vehicle with a gross maximum weight in
excess of 73,000 pounds may use the Linkwood Road when traveling between East
New Market and Linkwood. (III) 1. THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GARRETT COUNTY MAY,
BY ORDINANCE, ESTABLISH THE AUTHORIZED GROSS MAXIMUM WEIGHT OF A
VEHICLE THAT: A.       HAS AT LEAST 6 AXLES; B.       IS A TRUCK TRACTOR AND SEMITRAILER COMBINATION;
AND
C. IS USING ANY PART OF TABLE ROCK ROAD AND WILSON
RUN ROAD IN GARRETT COUNTY THAT IS OWNED AND MAINTAINED BY THE COUNTY. 2. SUBJECT TO SUBSUBPARAGRAPH 3 OF THIS SUBPARAGRAPH, THE GROSS MAXIMUM WEIGHT ESTABLISHED UNDER THIS
SUBPARAGRAPH MAY NOT EXCEED 80,000 87,000 POUNDS. 3. IN ESTABLISHING THE CROSS MAXIMUM WEIGHT UNDER
THIS SUBPARAGRAPH, THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY PROVIDE FOR A
TOLERANCE NOT EXCEEDING 10 PERCENT OVER THE ESTABLISHED GROSS
MAXIMUM WEIGHT.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2005. Approved April 26, 2005.
CHAPTER 215
(House Bill 506) AN ACT concerning Business Occupations and Professions - Architects - Continuing Education FOR the purpose of altering the number of certain continuing education contact hours
a licensed architect is required to complete to qualify for renewal of a license;
altering the time frame within which continuing education contact hours must
be completed to qualify for renewal of a license; making a certain requirement
for submitting verification of completion of certain continuing education
requirements subject to the request of the State Board of Architects; and
generally relating to the continuing education requirements of architects. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - Business Occupations and Professions
Section 3-309 and 3-309.1(a) - 1196 -
