(2) The director of a medical laboratory located outside of this State that
performs a medical laboratory test on a human specimen acquired from a person in
this State shall submit a report to the Secretary within 48 hours after an examination
of that specimen shows evidence of any disease or condition listed in subsection (c) of
this section.
(c) The diseases or conditions reportable by a medical laboratory director
under this section are:
(12) CREUTZFELDT-JAKOB DISEASE.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 2005.

(House Bill 437)
AN ACT concerning
Montgomery County Bingo Prizes
MC 511-05
FOR the purpose of increasing the maximum dollar value amount that may be
awarded in money prizes for each bingo game operated by a certain qualified
organization in Montgomery County; and generally relating to prizes awarded
in certain bingo games in Montgomery County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Criminal Law
13-1803.
(a) (1) A qualified organization may conduct bingo in the county to benefit
charity or to further the purpose of the qualified organization.
(2) Bingo shall be conducted only by the qualified organization and not
by a person who:
(i) retains a portion of the proceeds from the bingo game; or
