Assembly, in accordance with § 2-1246 of the State Government Article, on or before
January 1, 2006.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of this Act shall
take effect October 1, 2005 2006.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, except as provided in
Section 3 of this Act, this Act shall take effect July 1, 2005.

AN ACT concerning
Construction of Electricity Generating Stations - Required Certificates -
Exemption
FOR the purpose of expanding the scope of an exemption from a requirement to
obtain a certificate of public convenience and necessity before beginning certain
construction of an electricity generating station whose capacity the capacity of
which does not exceed a certain wattage and, the exported electricity of which
may only be sold on the wholesale market pursuant to a certain agreement, and
at which at least a certain portion of whose the electricity generated each year is
consumed on-site; and generally relating to the construction of electricity
generating stations.
