(3) DURING EACH CALENDAR YEAR, THE HOLDER OF A GAMING EVENT
MAY HOLD ONE RAFFLE IN WHICH PRIZE DRAWINGS ARE HELD ON MORE THAN A
SINGLE DAY IF THE MAJOR PRIZE HAS A VALUE OF $5,000 OR LESS.
(g) The county commissioners may adopt regulations to carry out this section
and §§ 13-1305 and 13-1307 of this subtitle.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2006.

(House Bill 259)
AN ACT concerning
Frederick County - Special Beer Festival
FOR the purpose of requiring the Board of License Commissioners of Frederick
County to approve an increased number of weekends for the special beer festival
in Frederick County; providing that Board may allow the special beer festival to
be held on a certain premises under a certain condition; and generally relating
to the special beer festival in Frederick County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
8-803.
(a) In this section, "Board" means the Board of License Commissioners for
Frederick County.
(b) The Board may issue a special beer festival license.
(c) A special beer festival license entitles the holder to display and sell at
retail beer for consumption on or off the licensed premises on the days and for the
hours designated for the special beer festival in Frederick County.
