(B)     IN CONSULTATION WITH THE BOARD, THE SECRETARY SHALL ANNUALLY
CALCULATE THE DIRECT AND INDIRECT COSTS ATTRIBUTABLE TO THE BOARD. (C)     BEGINNING ON JULY 1, 2008, THE BOARD SHALL ESTABLISH FEES BASED
ON THE CALCULATIONS PROVIDED BY THE SECRETARY UNDER THIS SECTION. (D)     EACH FEE ESTABLISHED BY THE BOARD MAY NOT BE INCREASED
ANNUALLY BY MORE THAN 12.5% OF THE EXISTING AND CORRESPONDING FEE OF
THE BOARD. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the fees set forth in Title
2, Subtitles 2, 3, and 4 of the Business Occupations and Professions Article in effect on
June 30, 2007, shall remain in full force and effect until the fees authorized to be set
by the State Board of Public Accountancy in accordance with this Act are adopted and
made effective. SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, except as provided in
Section 2 of this Act, this Act shall take effect July 1, 2007. Approved April 25, 2006.

(House Bill 115) AN ACT concerning Somerset County - Deputy Sheriffs - Conditions of Employment FOR the purpose of specifying that deputy sheriffs of Somerset County serve under
the direction of the Sheriff of Somerset County; requiring deputy sheriffs within
a certain time after appointment to complete successfully a certain police
training course; specifying that a deputy sheriff whose position is funded by the
County Commissioners becomes a merit system employee under certain
circumstances and may not be dismissed without cause; providing a certain
exception; and generally relating to deputy sheriffs of Somerset County. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
