BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Chapter 204 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2003
Section 12(3) Item (T)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Chapter 204 of the Acts of 2003
SECTION 12. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That:
(3) (T) Cumberland Valley Technology Center. Provide a grant
equal to the lesser of (i) $200,000 or (ii) the amount of the
matching fund provided, to the Board of Trustees of ABC
Cumberland Valley Technology Center, L.L.C. for the
acquisition, planning, design, repair, renovation,
reconstruction, and capital equipping of the former
Maryland National Guard Armory CUMBERLAND VALLEY
TECHNOLOGY CENTER [at 328-330 North Potomac
Street], LOCATED in Hagerstown, for use as a
preapprenticeship and apprenticeship training center for
the construction, maintenance, and industrial trades,
subject to the requirement that the grantee grant and
convey an historic casement to the Maryland Historical
Trust. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 12(5) of
this Act, the matching fund may include real property, in
kind contributions, or funds expended prior to the effective
date of this Act (Washington County).................................... $200,000
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2006.

AN ACT concerning
Legislative Community Initiatives Loan of 2004 - Sexual Assault/Spouse
Abuse Resource Center
FOR the purpose of amending the Legislative Community Initiatives Loan of 2004 to
extend the date by which the Board of Directors of the Sexual Assault/Spouse
Abuse Resource Center must present evidence that a matching fund will be
provided.
