Ch. 67 2006 LAWS OF MARYLAND
(2) A State's Attorney may prosecute a person that the State's Attorney
believes to be guilty of a willful violation of this section in the county in which the
State's Attorney serves.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect January 1, 2007.

AN ACT concerning
State Board of Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration
Contractors - Inspectors - Continuing Education Courses
FOR the purpose of altering certain continuing education requirements for certain
heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration inspectors so as to
authorize certain courses conducted by a county or local government if approved
by the State Board of Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration
Contractors; and generally relating to the State Board of Heating, Ventilation,
Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration Contractors.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Business Regulation
9A-403.
(a) Each individual whom the State, a county, or a local government appoints
or employs as a heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration inspector
shall:
(1) each year attend a continuing education course that the Board OR,
WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE BOARD, A COUNTY OR LOCAL GOVERNMENT conducts;
and
(2) meet minimum standards that are:
(i) established by the Board; and
(ii) administered:
