CHARTER AMENDMENT
RESOLUTION NO. 06-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MARYLAND, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article
XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended), to amend the Charter of the said City,
said Charter being a part of the public local laws of Maryland (1963 Edition, as
amended), which Article contains in whole or in part the Charter of the City of
District Heights, Maryland, whereby the Mayor and Commission extend the term of
office of future Mayors and Commissioners from three to four years. [Section 301 of the Charter of the City of District Heights, Prince George's
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2005 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments. Effective Date April 21, 2006]
