COMMITTEE NOTE: Ch.____, Acts of 2006, which enacted revised CJ Title 8, added this section to make the exemption from jury service for militia
members more consistent with the exemption for active armed forces
members. See revised CJ § 8-306(4). Article - Transportation 12-113. COPIES OF ADMINISTRATION RECORD. (A) PROVIDING. (1) SUBJECT TO § 12-111 OF THIS SUBTITLE AND § 10-616(P) OF THE
STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, THE ADMINISTRATOR OR ANY OTHER OFFICER OR
EMPLOYEE OF THE ADMINISTRATION WHOM THE ADMINISTRATOR DESIGNATES MAY
PROVIDE ON REQUEST A CERTIFIED OR OTHER COPY OF A RECORD OF THE
ADMINISTRATION.
(2) THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL: (I) PROVIDE, ANNUALLY OR ON REQUEST, THE INFORMATION
ABOUT HOLDERS OF DRIVER'S LICEN
SES AND IDENTIFICATION CARDS REQUIRED BY
JURY COMMI
SSIONERS TO CARRY OUT THEIR DUTIES UNDER TITLE 8 OF THE COURTS
ARTICLE; AND (II) COOPERATE WITH JURY COMMISSIONERS IN CORRECTING
ERRORS IN OR OTHERWISE UPDATING THE INFORMATION PROVIDED.
(3) ON APPLICATION OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, A CIRCUIT COURT
MAY COMPEL COMPLIANCE WITH PARAGRAPH (2) OF THIS SUBSECTION.
(B) FEE.
(1) (I) SUBJECT TO PARAGRAPHS (2) AND (3) OF THIS SUBSECTION,
THE ADMINISTRATION MAY SET AND CHARGE A FEE FOR EACH RECORD IT PROVIDE

OR CERTIFIES. (II) REVENUE FROM A FEE UNDER THIS SECTION IS NOT SUBJECT
TO DISTRIBUTION UNDER TITLE
8, SUBTITLE 1 OF THIS ARTICLE. (2) THE ADMINISTRATION MAY NOT CHARGE A FEE TO A COURT OR ITS
JURY COMMISSIONER, A FIRE DEPARTMENT, OR A POLICE AGENCY IN THI
S OR ANY
OTHER STATE OR A POLICE AGENCY OR COURT OF THE UNITED STATES
GOVERNMENT.
(3) THE LIMITS UNDER § 10-621 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE
DO NOT APPLY TO A FEE UNDER THIS SUBSECTION.
COMMITTEE NOTE: Ch.____, Acts of 2006, which enacted revised CJ Title
8, also repealed former TR § 12-113(a) and enacted this section, to add new
subsections (a)(2) and (3) and (b)(2), which is substituted for, or derived
without substantive change from, former CJ § 8-204(b)(1), and §
