Annapolis, MD 21401 Dear Mr. President: In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have
vetoed Senate Bill 383 - Home Builder Registration - Application - Social Security
Numbers.
This bill repeals specified provisions of law requiring an applicant for a home builder
registration to provide the Social Security number of all principals of the applicant;
and makes specified technical and conforming corrections. House Bill 326, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me,
accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 383. Very truly yours,
