(2) WITH A GENERATING CAPACITY THAT DOES NOT EXCEED 750
MEGAWATTS.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October June 1, 2006. It shall remain effective for a period of 5 years and 1 month.
and, at the end of June 30, 2011, with no further action required by the General
Assembly, this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

(House Bill 1642)
AN ACT concerning
Business Occupations and Professions - Stationary Engineers -
Qualifications
FOR the purpose of requiring the State Board of Stationary Engineers to waive
examination requirements under the Maryland Stationary Engineers Act and
issue certain individuals certain stationary engineer licenses under certain
circumstances; authorizing the Board to permit an applicant to take a certain
license examination under certain circumstances; requiring the Board to
consider certain factors in evaluating the work experience of a certain applicant;
limiting the duration of work experience that the Board may credit to an
applicant under certain circumstances; making a certain conforming change;
providing for the delayed effective date and termination of certain provisions of
this Act; and generally relating to the licensing and regulation of stationary
engineers.
