(I) THE NAME OF THE CURRENT CERTIFIED EMPLOYEE
ORGANIZATION;
(II) THE NAME OF THE PETITIONING EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATION;
AND
(III) A PROVISION FOR "NO REPRESENTATION".
[(f)] (G) If none of the choices on the ballot receives a majority of the votes, the
labor relations administrator shall hold a runoff election between the two choices
receiving the most votes.
[(g)] (H) (I) After the election, the labor relations administrator shall certify
the employee organization with the most votes as the exclusive representative.
(II) IF THE PETITIONING EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATION IS CERTIFIED
AS A RESULT OF AN ELECTION CARRIED OUT UNDER SUBSECTION (F) OF THIS
SECTION, THAT EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATION SHALL BE TREATED AS A SUCCESSOR IN
INTEREST AND PARTY TO ANY COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT TO WHICH
THE PREVIOUS EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATION WAS A PARTY.
[(h)] (I) The Montgomery Commission and the employee organization shall
share the costs of the election procedures equally.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006.

AN ACT concerning
Prince George's County - Office of the Sheriff - Salary and Expenses
PG 302-06
FOR the purpose of increasing the annual salary of the Sheriff of Prince George's
County beginning with a certain calendar year; increasing the maximum
amounts received by the Sheriff and the assistant sheriffs of Prince George's
County for certain expenses; providing that this Act does not apply to the salary
or compensation of the incumbent Sheriff of Prince George's County; and
generally relating to the salary and expenses of the office of the Sheriff of Prince
George's County.
