(b) The State Board of Physicians, the MD/DC Society for Respiratory Care,
and the Maryland Sleep Consortium shall report to the Senate Education, Health,
and Environmental Affairs Committee and the House Health and Government
Operations Committee on or before December 31, 2008, on the developments on the
accreditation of polysomnography education programs in the State and any proposed
legislation.
SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006.

AN ACT concerning
Housing Authorities - Entities to Undertake Housing Projects
FOR the purpose of expanding the power of a housing authority to establish and
control not-for-profit entities, including corporations as well as limited liability
companies, that may own, operate, and take steps necessary or convenient to
develop or otherwise undertake housing projects in the authority's area of
operation; and generally relating to housing authorities.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Housing and Community Development
12-502.
(h) An authority may also establish and control not-for-profit [corporations]
ENTITIES, INCLUDING CORPORATIONS AND LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANIES, that
may own, operate, and take steps necessary or convenient to develop or otherwise
undertake housing projects in the authority's area of operation.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2006.
