Ch. 559 2006 LAWS OF MARYLAND
No Child Left Behind Act that allow additional time for students with disabilities,
students with limited English proficiency, and other students when educationally
appropriate based on an individualized review of a student's pathway to graduation.
SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That on or before August 1,
2006, the State Department of Education shall report to the Governor and, subject to
§ 2-1246 of the State Government Article, to the General Assembly, regarding
measures being taken to implement Sections 2 and 3 of this Act and shall include the
categories and codes being used for identifying, tracking, calculating, and publicly
reporting transfers out of a four-year cohort, as defined by § 7-203.2 of the Education
Article. This report shall be posted on the Department's website.
SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2006.

(House Bill 105)
AN ACT concerning
Anne Arundel County - Orphans' Court Judges - Salary Increase
FOR the purpose of increasing to a certain amount the salaries of the judges of the
Orphans' Court of Anne Arundel County; and providing that this Act does not
apply to the salary or compensation of the incumbent judges of the Orphans'
Court of Anne Arundel County.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Estates and Trusts
2-108.
(c) (1) Each of the judges of the Court for Anne Arundel County shall receive
an annual compensation of [$19,000] $29,000, and the :
(I) $27,000 FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2007; AND
(II) $29,000 FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2008 AND EACH SUBSEQUENT
CALENDAR YEAR
