Ch. 541 2006 LAWS OF MARYLAND
15-302.2. (a) A supervising physician may not delegate prescribing and administering of
controlled dangerous substances, prescription drugs, or medical devices unless the
supervising physician and physician assistant include in the delegation agreement: (3) An attestation that all medical charts or records [: (i) Will] WILL contain a notation of any prescriptions written by a
physician assistant in accordance with this section; [and (ii) Will be reviewed and cosigned by the supervising physician
within a period reasonable and appropriate to the practice setting and consistent with
current standards of acceptable medical practice;] SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006. Enacted May 26, 2006.

AN ACT concerning
Maryland Health Care Commission - Certificate of Need - Health Care Facilities FOR the purpose of altering the level of capital expenditures made by or on behalf of
a hospital or a related institution health care facility other than a hospital that
require requires a certificate of need; providing that a certificate of need is not
required for a certain capital expenditure by a hospital or a certain plant
donated to a hospital, if the Maryland Health Care Commission has not made a
certain financial determination within a certain time period; repealing a
requirement that, to be exempted from
altering a certain exemption from the
requirement to obtain a certificate of need to close a hospital or part of a
hospital; a hospital hold a certain public hearing; and generally relating to
certificate of need requirements for health care facilities. BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
