[(2)] (3) Provides adequate evidence that the applicant:
(i) Meets the qualifications [otherwise] COMPARABLE TO THOSE
required by this title; [and]
(ii) IS CURRENTLY LICENSED OR REGISTERED IN ANOTHER STATE;
(III) BECAME LICENSED OR REGISTERED IN ANOTHER STATE
UNDER REQUIREMENTS SUBSTANTIALLY EQUIVALENT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF
THIS TITLE; AND
(IV) Became licensed or registered in the other state after passing in
that or any other state an examination that is similar to THE SAME AS the
examination for which the applicant is seeking the waiver; and
[(3)] (4) Did not previously receive a waiver of the examination
requirement from the Board.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006.

CHAPTER 540
(Senate Bill 818)
AN ACT concerning
Health Occupations - Physician Assistants - Delegation Agreements
FOR the purpose of repealing the requirement for certain signatures of certain
physicians on certain diagnostic orders under certain circumstances; providing a
certain exception to the requirement that the State Board of Physicians may
authorize certain physicians to delegate certain acts to certain physician
assistants only after certain conditions have been met; requiring certain
delegation agreements to include certain attestations descriptions from certain
physicians regarding of certain processes; authorizing certain physician
assistants to practice in accordance with certain pending delegation agreements;
providing for the termination of that authority under certain circumstances;
repealing the requirement for certain delegation agreements to include an
attestation that certain medical charts or records will be reviewed and cosigned
by certain physicians; defining a certain term; and generally relating to
delegation agreements between physicians and physician assistants.
