Baltimore County who are limited to service only within the particular facility where
they are employed, and who may not be compensated by Baltimore County for their
services.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to Article III, §
35 of the Maryland Constitution, this Act may not be construed to extend or apply to
the salary or compensation of the Sheriff of Baltimore County in office on the effective
date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act concerning the salary or compensation
of the Sheriff of Baltimore County shall take effect at the beginning of the next
following term of office.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006.

CHAPTER 518
(Senate Bill 304)
AN ACT concerning
Baltimore City - Alcoholic Beverages - After Hours Food Service by Class D
Licensees - 46th Legislative District
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of Liquor License Commissioners for
Baltimore City to allow holders of a Class D beer, wine and liquor license that
operate a restaurant in the 46th Legislative District to remain open after hours
only to serve food under a certain condition; making a conforming change; and
generally relating to holders of Class D alcoholic beverages licenses in Baltimore
City.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 11-304(d)(3) and 11-503(b)(1)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
11-304.
(d) (3) Notwithstanding paragraph (2) of this subsection, the Board of
Liquor License Commissioners may grant an exemption for remaining open after
hours to:
