(b) (2) As permitted by federal law or waiver, the Secretary may establish a
program under which [Medicaid program] MARYLAND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM recipients are required to enroll in community care organizations.
(f) (4) The community choice program shall ensure that all enrollees in the
program maintain access to pharmacy benefits, including all classes of drugs, that are
comparable to the benefits provided in the MARYLAND Medical Assistance Program.
(i) The community choice program shall include:
(2) Adult [Medicaid] MARYLAND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
recipients who meet the nursing home level of care standard; and
(3) [Medicaid] MARYLAND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM recipients
over 65 years of age.
(m) (1) In arranging for the benefits required under subsection (d) of this
section, the community care organization shall:
(iii) Reimburse adult day care facilities not less than the rate
determined by the Department for the MARYLAND Medical Assistance Program;

(a) (3) "Exposure" means [as between a patient and a health care provider]:
(i) Percutaneous contact with blood or body fluids;
(ii) Mucocutaneous contact with blood or body fluids;
(iii) Open wound, including dermatitis, exudative lesions, or
chapped skin, contact with blood or body fluids for a prolonged period; or
(iv) Intact skin contact with large amounts of blood or body fluids
for a prolonged period.
