SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
10-202.
(e) (3) THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS FOR BALTIMORE CITY
SHALL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE TRANSFER OF A LICENSE FOR AN
ESTABLISHMENT IN OPERATION IF THE HEARING IS REQUESTED BY AT LEAST 10
RESIDENTS IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA OF THE ESTABLISHMENT.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006.

CHAPTER 510
(Senate Bill 112)
AN ACT concerning
Campaign Finance Entities - Organization and Reporting
FOR the purpose of altering the types of campaign finance entities that certain
individuals may establish; abolishing the personal treasurer as a type of
campaign finance entity and repealing certain related provisions; requiring a
political committee to specify, when it is established, the elections in which it
will participate; repealing certain provisions relating to continuing political
committees; establishing penalties for a campaign finance entity that
participates in an election for which it did not declare its intent to participate;
altering the location at which certain campaign finance entities are required to
file certain campaign finance reports; repealing the requirement that certain
fees be paid to a local board of elections; providing for the disposition of late fees;
and generally relating to the organization and reporting of campaign finance
entities.
