(ii) During the previous year, has not committed a traffic infraction
or been involved in a traffic accident where the licensee was at fault; (iii) Has passed a nighttime vision test prescribed by the
Administration: and (iv) Has received a driver' training certificate based on nighttime
driving skills, from an entity that the Administration has determined is qualified to
evaluate drivers under this section. (2) Before the elimination of the daytime only restriction, an applicant
who meets the requirements of paragraph (1) of this subsection shall pass a nighttime
driving test administered by at least two Administration examiners. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October July 1, 2006. Approved May 16, 2006.
CHAPTER 494
(House Bill 1380) AN ACT concerning Libraries - County Library Capital Project Grants FOR the purpose of establishing a grant program in the State Department of .
Education to assist in the funding of county library capital projects; requiring
the Division of Library Development and Services in the Department to develop
and administer the program; authorizing a county library system to apply for
capital project grants under certain conditions; requiring an application to
contain certain information and meet certain conditions; requiring that certain
grants meet certain conditions; requiring the Division to review grant
applications and make certain recommendations by a certain date; requiring the
Division to consider certain information; requiring the State Board of Education
to approve certain projects by a certain date; requiring certain projects to be
forwarded to the Department of Budget and Management; requiring the
Governor to include certain funding for the program; requiring the State Board
to submit certain reports; requiring the State Board to adopt certain
regulations; defining certain terms; and generally relating to a State grant
program for county public library capital projects. BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
