(2) A PROVISION CREATING A LIEN IN FAVOR OF THE DEPARTMENT
AGAINST THE HOMEOWNERSHIP WORKFORCE HOUSING UNIT FOR THE AMOUNTS
DUE UPON SALE AS SET FORTH IN THIS SECTION
4-1812. A QUALIFYING COUNTY AND ANY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION TO WHICH A
QUALIFYING COUNTY TRANSFERS PROGRAM FUNDS
LOCAL GOVERNMENT SHALL
REPORT ANNUALLY TO THE DEPARTMENT ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 1 OF EACH YEAR
ON THE USE OF PROGRAM FUNDS. 4-1813. THE SECRETARY SHALL ADOPT REGULATIONS TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES
OF THE PROGRAM. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006. Approved May 16, 2006.
CHAPTER 484
(House Bill 1164) AN ACT concerning Maryland Trauma Physician Services Fund - Reimbursement Rates - Grants FOR the purpose of increasing the reimbursement rate for the cost incurred by
certain trauma centers to maintain trauma physicians on-call; increasing
repealing the limit on
increasing the total amount of reimbursements made to
certain emergency trauma physicians from the Maryland Trauma Physician
Services Fund; requiring the Health Services Cost Review Commission to
develop guidelines for the approval of a certain grant to subsidize stand-by costs
for certain out-of-state pediatric trauma centers; providing that expenditures
from the Fund may not exceed revenues without the approval of the General
Assembly except under certain circumstances;
requiring the Maryland Health
Care Commission to issue a certain grant to the Curtis National Hand Center at
Union Memorial Hospital to subsidize on-call services; requiring the Curtis
National Hand Center to comply with certain reporting requirements; requiring
a certain grant to be issued from a certain fund balance;
requiring the Maryland
Health Care Commission, in consultation with certain entities, to develop a
certain process for the award of certain grants to Level II and III trauma centers
in the State: requiring certain grants to be issued from a certain fund balance:
requiring the Maryland Health Care Commission to report to certain committees
of the General Assembly about a certain process for the award of certain grants:
altering certain definitions; defining certain terms a certain term: and generally
relating to the Maryland Trauma Physician Services Fund. - 2474 -
