ROBERT L. EHRLICH, JR., Governor                             Ch. 444 (i) prioritizes goals for the transportation system and strategies to
achieve these goals; and
(ii) adopts performance measures and benchmarks, which are reported
through the annual budget process to the Board and funding jurisdictions;
(2) develop a long-range budget plan, outlining WMATA's long-term capital
and operating needs and funding requirements; and
(3) adopt an annual 5 year service and financial plan that: (i) outlines planned transportation services; (ii) estimates the operating costs of planned service expansions; and (iii) includes detailed expenditure and revenue projections. SECTION 4. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 2006. Approved May 16, 2006.
CHAPTER 444
(Senate Bill 853) AN ACT concerning Homeowners Property Tax Credit Program - Local Supplement - Municipal Corporation FOR the purpose of altering the calculation of a local supplement to the State
Homeowners Property Tax Credit Program granted by a municipal corporation;
specifying certain additional eligibility criteria that the governing body of a
municipal corporation may provide, by law, for purposes of a local supplement;
authorizing the governing body of a municipal corporation to alter certain
limitations on the assessed value of a dwelling taken into account for purposes of
a local supplement; authorizing the governing body of a municipal corporation to
alter certain percentages and income levels used in calculating the credit for
purposes of a local supplement; authorizing the governing body of a municipal
corporation to alter certain limitations on a homeowner's net worth for
determining eligibility for purposes of a local supplement; providing for the
application of this Act; and generally relating to a local supplement granted by a
municipal corporation to the State Homeowners Property Tax Credit Program. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
