(e)      If written notice of refusal is not provided in accordance with subsection (c)
of this section, the franchise agreement shall continue in effect and shall be subject to
termination only as otherwise permitted by this title. (f)      This section does not preclude a dealer from designating any person as the
dealer's successor by written instrument filed with the manufacturer, distributor, or
factory branch. If a written instrument is filed, the instrument alone shall determine
the succession rights to the management and operation of the dealership. (G) (1) THIS SECTION APPLIES ONLY TO A DEALER WHO IS AN INDIVIDUAL. (2) IN THE EVENT OF THE INCAPACITY OR DEATH OF AN INDIVIDUAL
DESIGNATED TO ACT AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF A DEALER THAT IS AN ENTITY
UNDER § 15-207(G) OF THIS SUBTITLE, THE PROCEDURE FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE
INDIVIDUAL SHALL BE AS PROVIDED IN § 15-207(G) OF THIS SUBTITLE. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006. Approved May 16, 2006.

(Senate Bill 748) AN ACT concerning Psychiatric Residential Treatment Demonstration Waiver Application FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to apply
for a certain waiver under certain circumstances; requiring a certain waiver
application to provide for services for a certain number of individuals; providing
that certain funds
shall be certified or otherwise provided by certain
departments
requiring the Department to conduct a certain analysis; requiring
the Department to report to the General Assembly at certain times concerning
the status of a certain application; requiring the Department to report to the
General Assembly concerning the decision of the Department to implement the
waiver if the waiver application is approved; and generally relating to a
psychiatric residential treatment demonstration waiver. BY adding to Article - Health - General Section 15-130.1 Annotated Code of Maryland (2005 Replacement Volume and 2005 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
